Luscious Lush!

So I’ve been spending quite a few of my lunch hours in the local Lush store recently (the smell used to give me a migraine but I’ve got over that) I’ve been oohing and arhing about what gorgeous products to try next!!  

 Now firstly I purchased the Tea Tree water which to say I have been loving would be an understatement it’s amazing I definitely suggest anyone who suffers with break outs to try this! I’ve found with using my Vasanti exfoliator thrice weekly & then using this every evening my skin has really turned a corner! So I squirt around three pumps onto a cotton wool and just work it around my whole face! Your face feels Sooo clean after! It’s heavenly!   

The lush site states: Tea Tree Water: Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic!

 I’ve read some great reviews about the Ocean Salt scrub, so with my extra knowledge and my wallet I trundled down to the lush store and purchased the self preserving Ocean scrub! It smells Sooo clean and fresh! Now I’ve read good and bad reviews about this stuff, people have said it gives them a bad reaction when used on their faces! So I think I’ll stay away from my face for now! I can see why it could irritate your face as there are some larger pieces of salt mixed in with the fine grains of salt! But anyway I bought this specifically for my legs to buff them up ready for the sunshine! I’ve been using this every day for around a week and love the silky soft feeling it gives my legs they feel so exfoliated! The salty, citrus fragrance is refreshing on the skin. Sea salt is rich in minerals and excellent for scrubbing away any dead skin. There’s also added avocado butter, coconut oil and seaweed absolute to help keep your skin soft, smooth and conditioned.

  Then after going for a coffee with my best friend Rachael, she told me about the most delicious lip scrub she had purchased from Lush so the very next day I had to go and buy that bad boy! Now oh my gosh this Bubblegum lip scrub is divine!! It tastes delicious and really softens your lips! It is a little pricey and I could probably make a similar one at home for half the price so I probably won’t buy this again but I do love it!  

 Prep your lips with a buff and polish at the start of your make-up routine to ensure your lipstick glides on and stays put. Just apply with a clean finger, and let the exfoliating caster sugar and softening jojoba oil scrub away dead skin and infuse moisture to rejuvenate your smile. Bubblegum lip scrub won’t leave any greasy residue; just a sweet candy taste that you’ll enjoy licking off. Lip-smackingly good.
